Comprehensive Optometrist
Dr. Dat T. Do is a leading optometrist in Huntington Beach, dedicated to serving Southern California for over 8 years.
In addition to his optometric degree from the Illinois College of Optometry, he did a yearlong fellowship in ocular pathology and refractive surgery at Omni Eye Services. His broad optometric experience includes his current position as a Clinical Adjunct Professor at Southern California College of Optometry.
Prior to joining Atlantis Eyecare, Dr. Do was the Clinical Director at the TLC Laser Eye Center (formerly the Pacific Laser Eye Center) and a Clinical Instructor at Omni Eye Services. He is a member of the American Academy of Optometry AAO, and regularly contributes to AAO-sponsored eye care journals and presentations. Additionally, he has lectured in the area of co-management of refractive surgery, glaucoma and dry eye. Dr. Do is one of only a few optometrists in the state of California who can treat glaucoma independently
Aside from his regular duties as an optometrist in Huntington Beach, Dr. Do has delivered volunteer eye care in Peru and Vietnam. In his spare time, he enjoys waterskiing, snowboarding, rock climbing and training for marathons. Currently he is raising and training Damita, an assistance dog, for Canine Companion for Independence.
